I designed, illustrated, and typeset a 37-page poetry book that tells a cohesive narrative through words and visuals. Developed a unique visual identity, including a harmonious color palette, typography, and hand-drawn illustrations to complement the poetic themes. The book was professionally printed, handbound, and sewn, with a custom hardcover featuring a laser-cut title.
And the Sky is a found poetry collection that weaves together verses of loss, acceptance, and surrender to the vast, unknowable sea. Told through a series of poems, the book explores the ocean as both a force of nature and an emotional landscape — one that swallows, soothes, and ultimately transforms. Featuring minimalistic blue and black illustrations, And the Sky blurs the line between poetry and visual art, creating an immersive.
