For a class assignment in Design II at NYU, I designed a t-shirt for the album Vertigo by EDEN. The design explores a modern, digital aesthetic with a typographic focus, challenging myself to create a visually striking, contemporary piece that reflects the emotional intensity of the album. I played with digital manipulation and layering to create a sense of movement, mirroring the album’s themes of disillusionment and emotional turbulence.
Vertigo by EDEN is a deeply introspective and atmospheric album that blends alternative, electronic, and indie influences into a cohesive, emotional journey. Released in 2018, the album explores themes of nostalgia, self-doubt, and personal transformation, with EDEN’s signature layered production and raw, fragmented storytelling. The songs weave together ambient soundscapes, glitchy beats, and melancholic melodies, creating an immersive experience that feels both intimate and expansive.
I chose to feature one line in particular from the bridge of the song “forever//over”: so please don’t break me down. (2:20)
